Giselle's Pretty in Pink Graduation Party

Giselle decided on a pink color scheme for her nursing school graduation party. It's not every day our Pinehurst room gets such a girly makeover, but I loved it (although I am biased because pink is also my favorite color). This would also be a perfect color for a bridal shower, baby shower (if you know it's a girl!), sweet sixteen, quinceƱera, etc. It looked adorable!
With pink hydrangeas & roses in pink hued fish bowls & pretty pink napkins, the guests were seeing through rose colored lenses. What a pretty party! The cake with a stuffed Hello Kitty as the topper was super cute for this young women who adores Hello Kitty. What a great alternative to an edible topper, she can hold on to hers as a keepsake of this exciting moment.
Congratulations Giselle!
I know your friends & family were so happy & proud of you & we greatly enjoyed helping you celebrate your huge accomplishment!

Brenda's Retirement Farewell Party from LAUSD

What's more fun for teachers than school being out for the summer? Retirement! All jokes aside, this group of teachers sure were enjoying celebrating their dear friend Brenda's retirement from LAUSD. Such a lovely family & group of educators; We were honored to help her celebrate over 30 years of service. Congratulations Brenda!

Brenda's friends helped decorate the room with these cute, whimsical centerpieces in bright colors to give the tables a fun, childlike feel which we think tied in her teaching background quite nicely

The guests enjoyed a delicious luncheon buffet in our Pinehurst Room including a cascading fruit display & live tri-tip carving station. The Terrace was the perfect place for cocktails & taking photos with her proud family on this warm summer day Another one of our favorite bakeries, La Creme Bakery, created this custom cake with custard filling & fresh strawberries
And of course, live music from Barbara Wilson & The Band entertained the crowd the whole afternoon. Barbara is a fellow professor & a talented blues vocalist who covered the classics by the likes of Aretha & Billie Holiday
Brenda, we hope you & your family enjoy your new home ! We are sure LAUSD staff, students & all your friends in California will miss you. Thank you for letting us help you celebrate your 33 years of service to LAUSD!
